Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can I select the Song for the Video? We ask that our clients trust us with all creative aspects involved in the making of their film, including the selection of the song(s). This ensures we have the creative freedom to deliver a high quality film in our own unique style. Songs are selected from music licensing sites such as musicbed.com or soundstripe.com.
-
How long will it take to get our video? We strive to have highlights completed within 6 to 8 weeks. The documentary edit (add-on) will be completed approximately 2-3 weeks after completion of the highlight.
-
I am interested in booking, how do I reserve my date?"To reserve your date, we would collect a non-refundable deposit of 25% for videography only or 15% if booking both photography and videography. Once the payment is made, which can be done via cash, check, or through an online invoice, your date will be secured. The remaining balance would be due no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.
-
Where are you based out of and do you travel?2911 Films is based out of San Antonio, Texas. While we mainly provide videography and photography services throughout Texas, we are happy to travel nationwide and at destination locations. If you will be marrying outside of Texas and would like a custome quote, please send us a message.
-
What is the documentary Edit? While the highlight video is a creative edit, made up of short 3-5 second clips of the best moments throughout the day, the documentary edit is a lightly edited video up to 45 minutes in length and consists of longer segments of the day such as most of the ceremony, speeches, first dances, boquet/garter toss, etc. This is the perfect add-on for the couple who not only wants a short creative highlight of their day, but who also wants to see more footage of the main events from their day as they happened.
-
Do you offer raw footage? At this time, raw footage is not included in any of our packages and is not available for purchase. If you are interested in having more footage from your wedding, we recommend the Documentary Edit add-on. This film is lightly edited and includes up to 45 minutes of footage from the ceremony and reception, so you can see longer segments from moments such as the vows speeches, first dances, etc.
-
When is the best time for coverage to begin? We recommend having coverage begin at least an hour and a half prior to the start of the ceremony. This should allow enough time to capture photos of the venue, prep and detail shots, as well as set up all cameras and audio equipment for the ceremony.
-
I'm having an early ceremony and a late reception, can you split up the hours of coverage?"Contracted hours should be consecutive. At this time, we do not offer packages with split coverage.
-
Do you offer DVD or Blu Ray delivery options?Because we had been receiving fewer and fewer requests for DVD's and BluRay's, we are now only offering delivery via online digital download and USB's.
-
Can I make changes to the edited wedding video? After the completion of the film, the only edits that will be made will be due to an error on part of 2911 Films, such as the mispelling of a name or incorrect date. These changes will be made at no additional cost to the client.

What are some things we can do to ensure an awesome final product? One of our recommendations to ensure a great film, is to consider letter readings or personal vows. The audio from letter readings and/or personal vows gives us more to work with to really tell your story. The selection of your officiant will also be important, as we love to use some of the words of the officiant to help narrate the film. We also recommend a quality DJ that can keep your guests on the dancefloor. A packed dancefloor with a hyped crowd, always results in greater reception footage. A fun exit can make for a good ending of the film. We recommend sparklers, fake Snow, bubbles, streamers, glow sticks, etc.
